When it comes to character meet-and-greets in Disneyland and Disney World, there are a variety of ways to interact with your favorites. Whether you book a character breakfast at one of Disney World’s restaurants or wait in line at one of the theme parks, guests have the chance to have special moments with everyone from Mickey and Minnie to Ariel and Peter Pan.

But there is one character meet and greet that Disney+ subscribers and fans have been asking about for a very long time, and that’s Bluey.

Is Bluey at Disney World or Disneyland?

To date, the show’s popular characters, including Blue, Bingo, Bandit, and Chilli, have not appeared for any character experiences in Disney World or Disneyland. But in exciting news recently announced by the Walt Disney Company, that will all change beginning in 2025.

“Bluey has become a household name for families around the world and we are thrilled to bring her story to life in new ways,” said chairman of Disney Experiences, Josh D’Amaro. “We can’t wait to watch our youngest guests and their families make memories with Bluey in our parks and on our cruises.”

While there are no formal details about when and where Bluey and Bingo will appear just yet, Disney did say that more information about Bluey at Disney World and Disneyland will be announced in the coming months.

Bluey Characters on Disney Cruise Line

While fans still have to wait to hear details about on-land character experiences with the Bluey crew, Disney Cruise Line guests will get the first chance to interact with the beloved blue heeler family on board Disney cruises that originate in Australia and New Zealand beginning in January 2025.

According to the news announcement from the company, cruise guests on these voyages will be treated to special meet-and-greets as well as “an interactive and clue-filled game that ends in a dance party,” which, frankly, sounds amazing.

Disney Working on a Bluey Feature Length Movie

These announcements about bringing Bluey characters into the Disney theme parks and cruise experiences comes at a time when the brand is expanding its relationship with BBC and the Bluey franchise.

The broadcasting rights to the hit Australian animated television show, created by Joe Brumm and produced by Ludo Studios, were acquired by The Walt Disney Company in 2019. Since then, Disney fans have fully embraced the funny and endlessly endearing series with open arms.

Disney is currently in the process of developing a feature-length Bluey movie that is set to debut in theaters in 2027, followed closely by its rollout on Disney+.
